“It is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church” Corinthians 14:33-35

A woman should learn quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” Timothy 2:9-14

One can only say hurrah for suffragettes in the face of such hatred, although I have to admit some women I have known like a measure of dominance or male lead, but this is more about sex than political rights. In any event some being that way is no right to force all women to be that way.
