The above shows the journey of the women who are linked to my mother via mitochondrial DNA. My mother had no daughters but one of her sister’s did so there is a chance the story will continue. This type of DNA terminates in males so I cannot pass it on.

The haplogroups story is form Mitochondrial Eve about 160,000 years ago, via L1/L0 then L2 to L, R then N then U. My mitochondrial DNA is haplogroup U2.
